I am first year PhD student housed in Forest, Rangeland, and Watershed Stewardship under the Graduate Degree Program in Ecology. For my dissertation research, I am evaluating the wetland to upland forest ecosystem gradient of Southeast Alaska, specifically focusing on the factors controlling plant species distributions across this gradient. Prior to coming to CSU, I completed a M.S. in Forest Ecology at the University of Montana, where my research focused on carbon storage of old-growth forests of the Northern Rockies.
