My interests are in understanding limits to fine-scale species distribution, persistence and functional connectivity (primarily as measured using genetic data). I am particularly interested in how alternative scenarios of landscape change alter species distribution, probability of persistence and functional connectivity (including climate change), then applying these models to inform conservation and management planning. I am developing new analytical approaches to address these questions as well as adapting approaches from landscape ecology. I am also interested in flyfishing, camping, horses, snowshoeing, and most things mountain related!
