At this conclusion of this step you should have the following products:
- What will be measured or collected in the field.
- How will it be measured or collected.
- Where the measurements be made within each of the sites comprising the sample.
- How sampling will be distributed within the temporal unit (e.g. year).
- Laboratory methods.
- Analytical procedures to calculate the metrics from the measurements.
After you have completed these products, you are ready to proceed to the inference design step.
