When you complete this third step of the Salmon Monitoring Advisor, you should have a field data collection plan that:

• Will effectively guide field implementation of the monitoring project's design, goals and ojectives
  

• Contains data collection standards and procedures, including key QA/QC provisions, that provide a clear road map for field staff to follow, including annual review and feedback
  

• Explicitly anticipates key linkages between data collection and the components of design, data management, data summary and reporting, including the field knowledge needed to accurately document the types of data being collected by the project (metadata).
