Justice and Thresholds

Posted by marci at December 03. 2010

From the Arizona State University Group:

1) What are the consequences of global sustainable resource transitions in terms of distributional justice and human development?  For example: food, fuel, and water, and questions of  intra- vs. intergenerational well-being in space and time.

2) What are the critical thresholds in social and natural systems, and how do they impact each other?  Which thresholds are reversible and which are not, considering the complexities and interactions of both systems?
